In 2015/16, Wolseley Canada’s parent company, Ferguson plc, set global five-year targets to reduce carbon by 10 percent, waste by 15 percent per $m revenue and increase recycling to 40 percent. Ferguson supported the establishment of regional committees to ensure delivery against this commitment.

Throughout the year, the company focused on increasing its recycling efforts, reducing paper and packing material waste and finding ways to increase energy efficiency.
