The Sustainability Leadership Program (SLP), focuses on guiding businesses on their journey to sustainability, tracking progress, engaging stakeholders and reporting on results.
Our members receive:
The SLP is a series of Steps providing a clear pathway to Sustainability Leadership.
Each Step includes a number of educational modules that will take place over the span of a few weeks. The modules are delivered in a cohort setting, meaning a limited group of businesses will go through the modules together, allowing them to build relationships, share knowledge and collaborate.
This allows us to focus on the progression of our members to becoming truly sustainable businesses.
Measure
Climate change is happening. The world is warming. We have the ability to slow the rate of warming to save nature from moving beyond repair. The first step in taking action is understanding your impacts by consolidating your operations to a single, comparable measurement. We help you understand the globally accepted methodology of measurement and provide you with the tools to create the momentum of sustainable action through science-based targets. Step one in our membership program allows your business to establish a foundation on which to build and become a truly sustainable organisation.
Plan
Sustainable businesses understand that it is important to measure what matters. But how do you determine what matters? Expanding from a single measurement, this next step in the path supports your business in understanding the other elements that contribute to the success of your triple bottom line. By engaging with your stakeholders, you will get a full picture of what your business should focus on to improve its impacts in a credible way, and create a plan to achieve the desired results.
Implement
You have started implementing your plan, and are ready to start evaluating and reporting on your progress. Your business will have the data, tools and support to develop a report that is globally recognised. Your sustainability report will provide your customers, suppliers and investors with the information necessary to understand how your business is addressing the impacts it creates and achieving those goals. By producing a sustainability report, you are building confidence in the public eye by showing accountability for your actions and declaring the steps you’re taking to improve them – your business is living the words of sustainability.
